After you’ve downloaded a beat from Str8WitIt.com and recorded a song to it, you’re now probably wondering what you can and can’t do with your recorded song. Here are some guidelines to follow.

What You Can Do:

• You can post the song on your personal website or a community site like Soundclick, Facebook, or Myspace where people can listen and download your song for free (you must give us credit for the beat by linking back to our website www.Str8WitIt.com).
• You can use your song or our beats in your Youtube video as background music (limited to 500 video views) as long as you’re not making any money off the video (with ads or through Youtube Partner program) and credit must be given to us in the video info box (Beat by http://www.Str8WitIt.com)
• You can put your song on a demo/promotional CD or mixtape you will be handing out for free (100 physical copies/downloads allowed).
• You can burn our beats onto a CD for listening and freestyling.

Exclusive Rights:

• You can post the song on your personal website or a community site like Soundclick, Facebook, or Myspace where people can listen or buy your song (Unlimited Amount Of Sales/Streams).
• You can use your song or our beats in your Youtube video as background music (limited to Unlimited video views) You can make any amount of money off the song without having to link us.
• You can put your song on a demo/promotional CD or mixtape you will be selling at shows or on any site (Unlimited physical copies/downloads allowed)
• Once you buy an exclusive license from us. the beat will then be removed from sales on our site and no more limited/lease options will be available for that beat. (HQ track-outs) will be available with purchase of your license upon request.

What You Can’t Do:

• You can’t sell your recorded song for any type of monetary gain, this includes selling internet downloads, even for $0.99 each.
• You can’t sell your recorded song just to cover packaging expenses, no matter how small the expenses are.
• No performing with our beats at live shows or concerts, even if it’s a non-profitable event.
• No radio play with your recorded song.
• Do not post our beats for download on a website without your vocals over the beat.
